🕊️ Fear Not — Not Everything You Encounter Comes from God

📖 Proverbs 7:10 “Behold, there a woman met him with the attire of a prostitute, and with crafty intent.”

After Solomon called us to keep God’s Word in our hearts, he now shows why this is so important. Temptation rarely announces itself openly. It often appears attractive, convincing, and harmless. Yet behind a beautiful appearance there may be a deceitful heart.

The woman in this passage does not only represent sexual temptation. She is also a picture of every form of seduction that seeks to draw us away from God’s path. The enemy often does not work through force, but through deception. He tries to make sin look appealing and to cause us to question God’s truth.

đź“– 2 Corinthians 11:14
“And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.”

That is why we need spiritual discernment. Not everything that looks good is good. Not every open door has been opened by God. Whoever knows God’s Word and allows the Holy Spirit to lead them can recognize the difference between truth and deception.

Jesus met every temptation with the Word of God and therefore remained on the Father’s path. We too can know this: in Christ, we do not have to give in to temptation. He has broken the power of sin and gives us the strength to remain steadfast.

đź“– 1 Corinthians 10:13
“No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

Whoever remains close to Jesus does not have to fear deception. His truth brings clarity, and His Spirit leads safely on the path of life.

🙌 Therefore: Fear not — God’s truth protects you from every deception.
