🕊️ Fear Not — The Father Speaks Life into Your Hopelessness (Part 1)
📖 Ezekiel 16:6 “And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.”

To understand the depth of this verse, we must first read the verse before it. There God describes Jerusalem’s condition at her birth.
📖 Ezekiel 16:5
“None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the loathing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.”
This picture is far more than Israel’s history. It reveals the spiritual condition of every person without Christ—abandoned, helpless, without hope, and unable to save themselves.
The Hebrew word for compassion is רַחַם (racham). It describes the deep, tender mercy that flows from the heart, like a mother’s love for her child. Yet no one showed that racham. No one stopped. No one wanted that child.
But this is exactly where God’s story begins.
Our lives without Jesus were not merely incomplete. The Bible says we were spiritually dead.
📖 Ephesians 2:1
“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.”
The Greek word νεκρός (nekros) does not mean weak or sick. It means completely dead. A dead person cannot give life to himself.
That is why salvation never begins with us—it always begins with God.
🙌 Therefore: Fear not—where man sees no hope, God’s grace begins.
