🕊️ Fear Not — You Have Been Made Worthy
📖 Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”

This verse directs our attention to a wonderful truth: We do not make ourselves worthy — the Father has made us worthy. So often, we think that we must first become better, accomplish more, or be more spiritual before God will accept us. But the Gospel tells us exactly the opposite. Through Jesus, the Father has qualified us to share in His inheritance.
The Greek word for “made fit” is ἱκανόω (hikanoō – hi-ka-NO-o). It means to make capable, to qualify, to make worthy, to make sufficient. God does not first demand our ability — He gives it to us. What was impossible for us through our own strength, He has made possible through Christ.
That is why Paul begins this verse with a call to thankfulness. Whoever recognizes what God has already done no longer lives in fear but in joy. We do not work to earn God's acceptance — we live from the acceptance He has already given us.
📖 Ephesians 2:8–9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.”
As children of God, we are heirs of His Kingdom. We have not earned this inheritance; we have received it. It is not based on our achievements but on the finished work of Jesus Christ.
📖 Romans 8:16–17 “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.”
When the enemy tries to convince you that you are not good enough, remember this truth: God did not accept you because of your perfection, but because Jesus is perfect. In Him, you have been qualified to belong to His people and to share in His glorious inheritance.
🙌 Therefore: Fear not — the Father Himself has made you worthy to share in His eternal inheritance.
