🕊️ Fear Not — Even God’s Faithful Servants Know Fear
📖 1 Kings 19:3 “When he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.”

Only a few verses earlier, Elijah had experienced a tremendous victory. God had answered with fire from heaven, the people had recognized the Lord as the true God, and the prophets of Baal had been defeated. Yet one single threat from Jezebel was enough, and Elijah fled in fear.
This shows us an important truth: even great heroes of faith are not free from moments of fear. Fear does not mean that your faith has disappeared. What matters is where you go with your fear.
Elijah even withdrew from his servant. Fear often isolates us. It whispers that we have to fight alone and that no one understands us. Yet it is precisely then that God seeks us out. He does not condemn Elijah, but meets him with care, strengthens him, and leads him step by step back into his calling.
đź“– Psalm 34:4
“I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
Perhaps you too are running away right now — not physically, but inwardly. Worries, disappointments, or threats can shift your focus away from the miracles God has already done. Yet the same hand that carried you yesterday will not let you go today.
đź“– Isaiah 41:10
“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”
God is not only the Lord over your greatest victories. He is also with you in the moments when your strength begins to fail. His faithfulness does not depend on your strength, but on His unchanging nature.
🙌 Therefore: Fear not — God meets you not only on the mountain of victory, but also on the path through your fear.
