🕊️ Do Not Fear — Wisdom Recognizes the Right Time
📖 Proverbs 10:14 “Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near ruin.”

In our time, it often seems that whoever speaks the loudest is heard the most. But God’s wisdom shows us a different way. Not everything we know needs to be spoken immediately. True wisdom recognizes not only what should be said, but also when, how, and whether something should be said at all.
The Hebrew word for wise is חָכָם (chāchām – cha-CHAM). It describes a person who orders their life according to God’s wisdom. Therefore, the wise person does not hold back knowledge out of fear, but because they know that careless words can destroy more than silence ever could.
Jesus Himself demonstrated this wisdom for us. When He stood before Pilate and Herod and was overwhelmed with false accusations, He did not defend Himself. He knew that silence at that moment would accomplish more than many words.
📖 Matthew 27:12–14
“When he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then Pilate said to him, ‘Don’t you hear how many things they testify against you?’ He gave him no answer, not even one word, so that the governor marveled greatly.”
The second part of the verse warns us about the fool. He speaks before he thinks. His words produce conflict, hurt, and eventually destruction. How many relationships have been broken because someone spoke in anger instead of remaining silent for a moment.
📖 James 1:19
“Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.”
Godly wisdom is not shown by always having the right answer, but by being led by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes a loving word is needed. Sometimes a clear correction. And sometimes silence is the wisest answer of all.
🙌 Therefore: Do not fear — ask God for wisdom so that your words may bring life and not destruction.
