🕊️ Do Not Fear — God Wants Your Blessing to Reach Others Too

📖 Leviticus 19:9 “When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.”

God gave Israel this command not because He wanted an incomplete harvest, but because He cared for the poor, widows, orphans, and foreigners. What was left standing at the edges of the field or remained after the harvest was intended for those who had nothing of their own. God’s people were to learn to share the blessing they had received with others.

This command reveals God’s heart. He does not only think of the one who has much, but also of the one who is in need. At the same time, it shows that God wanted to give dignity to those in need. They were not simply to receive charity, but were able to go into the field themselves and gather the remaining grain. In this way, God combined mercy with personal responsibility.

📖 Ruth 2:2–3
“Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, ‘Let me now go to the field, and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I find favor.’ … She went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers.”

We too can learn from this command. God does not bless us only for ourselves. Whether it is time, money, abilities, or encouragement — He wants other people to experience His blessing through our lives as well. A Christian should not only ask, “What may I keep?” but also, “With whom can I share today something of what God has entrusted to me?”

Jesus demonstrated exactly this kind of heart. He did not give only a part of Himself — He gave Himself so that we might have life.

📖 Acts 20:35
“Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

When we live with open hands, we reveal something of the nature of our heavenly Father. His blessing was never meant to stop with us, but to flow through us to others.

🙌 Therefore: Do not fear — God blesses you not only to provide for you, but also so that you can become a blessing to others.
