🕊️ Do Not Fear — Serve God, Not People

📖 1 Thessalonians 2:4 “But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.”

Paul knew that the Gospel was a precious treasure that God had entrusted to him. Therefore, he did not shape his message according to people’s expectations, but according to the truth of God. His goal was not applause, recognition, or popularity, but faithfulness to the Lord.

We too are repeatedly tempted to please people. We adjust our words, remain silent about uncomfortable truths, or act out of fear of rejection. But a life that is constantly guided by the opinions of others will never experience the freedom God wants to give.

God has entrusted something to each of us. Perhaps it is the Gospel, a testimony, a gift, or a ministry. What matters is not how many people agree with us, but whether we remain faithful to the calling God has given us. In the end, we will not stand before people, but before the Lord, who knows our hearts.

đź“– Galatians 1:10
“For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.”

When we love God more than the approval of people, we become free. Free to speak the truth in love. Free to go against the current. Free to walk the path God has prepared for us. God’s standard is not the applause of people, but a faithful heart.

đź“– Proverbs 29:25
“The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the LORD is kept safe.”

Therefore, do not let fear of rejection guide you. God has entrusted His Gospel to you because He trusts you. He will also give you the strength to serve Him faithfully.

🙌 Therefore: Do not fear — do not live to please people, but to honor God. His approval is more valuable than all the applause of this world.
