🕊️ Fear Not — Remain Watchful Against False Teaching
📖 Philippians 3:2 “Beware of the dogs; beware of the evil workers; beware of the false circumcision.”

Paul warns the church with unusually strong words. Three times he repeats: “Beware!” In doing so, he makes clear how serious the danger of false teaching is. He was speaking about people who mixed the Gospel of grace with human works and taught that faith in Christ alone was not enough.
By “dogs,” Paul does not mean all people outside the church, but false teachers who were leading God’s flock astray. The “false circumcision” is a play on words. The Greek word κατατομή (katatomē, ka-ta-to-MAY) literally means “mutilation” or “cutting.” Paul deliberately contrasts it with περιτομή (peritomē, pe-ri-to-MAY), meaning “circumcision.” He makes it clear that an outward religious act without faith in Christ has no spiritual value.
Our salvation is not founded on religious works, traditions, or human effort, but on Jesus Christ alone. Anything people try to add to His finished work obscures the message of the Gospel.
📖 Ephesians 2:8–9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.”
Therefore, we should test every teaching by the Word of God. Not everything that sounds religious leads to Christ. God’s truth brings freedom, while false teachings place people back under burdens and uncertainty.
📖 Galatians 5:1
“Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
Hold firmly to Jesus. His finished work on the cross is completely sufficient. Whoever trusts in Him does not need to fear that God will not accept them.
🙌 Therefore: Fear not — remain firmly rooted in the true Gospel of grace.
