🕊️ Fear not — Faith sees farther than fear - Part 1
📖 2 Kings 6:15 “And the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, and there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, ‘Alas, my master! What shall we do?’”

Elisha’s servant reacted the way most people naturally would—with fear. When he stepped outside, all he could see was a powerful enemy army surrounding the city. From a human perspective, there seemed to be no escape. Fear was the natural response.
But fear has a way of paralyzing us. It steals our peace, narrows our vision, and causes us to focus only on the problem. When fear controls our hearts, it becomes difficult to think clearly, and we often make decisions based on what we see instead of what God has said.
Elisha responded very differently. He saw the same army, yet his confidence was not in what stood before him but in the Lord. That is why he could see more than his servant. Elisha lived with the constant awareness that God’s power is always greater than any threat. His imagination was filled with what God was able to do, not with what the circumstances seemed to say.
This is the great difference between fear and faith. Fear asks, “What is going to happen to me?” Faith asks, “What is God going to do?”
📖 2 Corinthians 5:7
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
When we trust God, we begin to see beyond what is visible. Not because we deny reality, but because we know there is a greater reality—God’s presence and His promises. When our eyes are fixed on Him, our thinking changes, our decisions change, and our lives change.
🙌 Fear not—those who keep their eyes on God will always see more than fear wants them to see.
