🕊️ Fear not — The Good Shepherd leads you safely
📖 Psalm 78:52–53 “But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.”

God did not simply bring Israel out of slavery in Egypt—He walked with them every step of the way through the wilderness. He did not abandon them after setting them free. Like a loving Shepherd, He led His flock, provided everything they needed, and showed them the right path.
Sheep are not animals that can find their own way. They need a shepherd to guide and protect them. In the same way, God describes our relationship with Him. He does not expect us to have every answer or to find our own way by our own strength. Instead, He invites us to trust Him and follow His leading.
Notice that this passage does not say the wilderness was free from danger. It was filled with uncertainty, hardship, and real threats. They certainly could have been afraid, but they did not need to be, because God Himself was leading them safely. Their confidence was not based on their circumstances but on the presence and faithfulness of the Lord.
📖 Psalm 23:1–2
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” The Hebrew word for “leads” is נָהַל (nāhal – na-hal). It describes the gentle, caring guidance of a shepherd who brings his flock safely to its destination. God does not drive His children forward—He leads them with wisdom, patience, and love.
Even if your path today leads through a wilderness, it does not mean God has abandoned you. The circumstances around you may give you reasons to fear, but you do not have to live under the control of that fear. The Lord knows the way you cannot yet see, and He will faithfully lead you one step at a time.
🙌 Fear not—you do not have to be afraid, because your Good Shepherd is leading you safely.
