🕊️ Fear Not – Jesus Sees Your Tears

📖 Luke 7:13 “When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, ‘Don’t cry.’”

These words were spoken to a widow from the town of Nain. She had already lost her husband, and now her only son was being carried out for burial. Humanly speaking, her future seemed filled with sorrow, loneliness, and hopelessness. Yet before she ever asked Jesus for help, Jesus had already seen her.

This is a beautiful truth: Jesus often sees our need before we find the words to express it. His heart is not indifferent to our tears. When the Lord saw this widow, He was deeply moved with compassion.

📖 Psalm 56:8
“You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?”

God does not overlook a single tear of His children. What may be invisible to others is fully known to Him. He sees the burdens no one else understands, the struggles we carry in silence, and the pain hidden deep within our hearts.

Jesus did not first ask her to explain her situation. Instead, He said, “Don’t cry.” Not because her pain was unimportant, but because He was already bringing the answer. Moments later, Jesus touched the bier and raised her son back to life.

📖 Psalm 34:18
“Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”

Perhaps there are times when you feel that nobody truly understands what you are facing. But the Lord sees you just as He saw the widow of Nain. His compassion has not changed. The Jesus who saw her tears still sees every tear today.

📖 Revelation 21:4
“He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more.”

Where Jesus is present, hope has the final word. His presence is greater than our grief, and His love reaches deeper than our deepest pain.

🙌 Therefore: Fear not — the Lord sees every tear, knows every burden, and meets you with the same compassion with which He looked upon the widow of Nain.
