🕊️ Do Not Fear – Your Rock Stands Firm

Here David describes God as a place of safety to which he can always come. Not only on good days, not only when everything is going well, but at all times. This is a wonderful truth for every believer. God does not invite us into His presence only occasionally; He is a constant refuge for all who trust in Him.

Especially remarkable are the words: “You are my rock and my fortress.” A rock represents stability, strength, and unchanging faithfulness. While circumstances, emotions, and situations may change, God remains the same.

📖 Malachi 3:6
“For I, the LORD, do not change.”

A fortress provides protection against attack. We also face worries, temptations, discouragement, and uncertainty. Yet God has never promised that there would be no battles. He has promised that He will be with us.

📖 Proverbs 18:10
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

David also says that God has promised to help him. God's promises are not based on our performance but on His faithfulness.

📖 Hebrews 13:5
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Therefore, we can come to Him with confidence, no matter what we are facing.

Whoever makes God his Rock finds a foundation that is stronger than every difficulty and more secure than any human protection.
