🕊️ Do Not Fear — God’s Judgment Begins Where the Greatest Light Was
📖 Ezekiel 9:6 “Kill utterly the old man, the young man, the virgin, little children, and women; but don’t come near any man on whom is the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” Then they began at the old men who were before the house.

This verse is one of the most difficult in the Bible. But before God carries out judgment, something decisive happens: those who grieve over sin and bear God’s mark are first preserved (Ezekiel 9:4). God’s judgment is never arbitrary—He knows the hearts.
What is especially striking is God’s command: “Begin at my sanctuary!” Judgment does not begin with the pagan nations, but with those who knew God best. The elders before the temple should have led the people to repentance, but instead they had defiled God’s house.
We find this principle in the New Testament as well.

“For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?”
The more light God gives a person, the greater the responsibility. God is not looking for outward religious devotion, but for hearts that remain faithful to Him. That is why He begins by cleansing His own house.
This is both a serious warning and a great hope. For those who bear God’s mark—today, through faith in Jesus Christ, we belong to Him and are sealed with the Holy Spirit—are under His protection.

🙌 Therefore: Do not fear God’s judgment, but live in reverence before Him. Remain faithful to Jesus, carry His seal in your life, and examine your heart again and again—for God preserves those who belong to Him.
