🕊️ Do Not Be Afraid – Strength Is Given to Carry, Not to Exalt Yourself
📖 Romans 15:1 “We who are strong ought to bear with the weaknesses of those who are weak and not seek to please ourselves.”

Paul reminds us here of an important truth: Spiritual strength is never a reason for pride but an opportunity to serve. Those who have grown in faith should not look down on those who are weaker, but help them, encourage them, and patiently bear with them. God gives us strength not so that we may elevate ourselves above others, but so that we may serve them.
How easily the opposite can happen. When we gain greater knowledge, more experience, or deeper spiritual understanding, pride can quietly find its way into our hearts. Yet Scripture warns us against this. 📖 1 Corinthians 8:1says: “Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.” True spiritual maturity is not measured by how much we know, but by how lovingly we treat others.
Jesus Himself is our perfect example. Although He is Lord over all, He humbled Himself and served people. 📖 Philippians 2:3–4 encourages us: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.” Those who are truly strong do not need to prove their strength. They are able to bear patiently, forgive freely, and lift others up.
At the same time, bearing with the weak does not mean despising their burdens or making light of their struggles. 📖 Galatians 6:2 says: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Christ’s love moves us to meet people where they are and help them walk with God.
When we remember that everything we have is a gift from God, there is no room for pride. Then we become people who lift others up instead of pushing them down, and who serve instead of seeking to rule.
🙌 Therefore: Do not be afraid—God has given you strength to carry others, and humility so that you never forget that you yourself are carried every day by His grace.
